- Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) - Three year work program for transportation projects. Updated annually.
- Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) - Annual work program for the MPO.
- TRANPLAN, TP+, VIPER - Transportation Planning Models used to determine future traffic volumes.
- Traffic Volume Map - Map produced annually by the MPO showing current traffic volumes throughout the region.
- Volume to Capacity Ratio (V/C Ratio) - Ratio which shows the amount of traffic on the road in relation to the capacity of the road to hold traffic.
